CRITICS! [Taylor's "Bad Blood"]
Taylor is back with a new MV! After a sudden change of genre in "Shake It Off", ruining an expensive vintage car in "Blank Space", and going mysterious with a nostalgic feels in "Style", she's now back with an all new type of MV which was very unexpected from her. Well, it was pretty expected 'cause she posted some teaser pics in Insta, but still.. Let's watch the MV.
From the thumbnail picture, you can definitely tell there's a war going on. I'm not sure about how I feel about this MV, 'cause to me, the music sounds pretty fun, yet the MV looks so irresistibly badass. I'm not sure why Taylor decided to do this, but she has her freedom to express. Still, I'm pretty confused whether I like the MV or not 'cause it's just weird for me to see Taylor evolving from her typical "Juliet" or princess image to the "Katniss" image. But of course, I love the song, it's hella amazing. Yet again, comparing this to the studio version, I think I still love the studio one better. The MV gives a hip-hop atmosphere, and instead of using guys (like what she always does in other videos), she uses a girl image in this video. Probably because she had a good relationship (partnership) with the girl in black, then she suddenly betrays Taylor by kicing her off the window, resulting to grudges and "Bad Blood". Well, that's what I see in the video.
What do you think about the MV?
CRITICS! [Taylor's "Style"]
Firstly, YOU SERIOUSLY NEED TO WATCH IT!! It's amazing...
"Style" which was set to be the next single, which is pretty obvious, has finally come with a MV.
Based on the teasers we get from Taylor via Instagram, this was expected to be an awesome MV, I mean, let's be real, it's abstract, artistic, and emotional too. Not to mention the way the lyrics connect along with the MV is pretty much precise. Lyrically, the song pretty much explains about how she wants to leave him despite knowing what the relationship could lead, but still can't leave him also despite of loving how he is. I gotta say, this sounds like nowadays relationships. Musically, this track is an earworm in first listen. No joke, I love this track when I first listen to it. It has that fun synthpop-y clingy guitar strung that makes it sound so unique. Vocal-based, for the Queen of Country, it might seem forced to change her music style so suddenly, but then again, after listening to the whole album, it isn't that bad.

CRITICS! [Could Taylor's "Blank Space" be the 'Cheated Girl' Theme Song?]
Taylor releases her second MV for the second album in 1989, "Blank Space". First thing that came in my mind after watching it was "This resembles mostly of what Bart Baker's parodies of Taylor Swift make fun of"
Taylor crying in the MV

And after watching Bart Baker's Taylor Swift parodies and "Blank Space" MV, I'm sure you guys are gonna think that Bart might be right, although he made the parodies for fun only.
However, the MV does relate to the song really well, and I won't be surprised if it will get famous. I mean, come on, it's Taylor! And for the first time, I see her songs relating really well to the music video she makes. Usually, it would be kind of goofy and such (not all are, but some), but I totally recommend you to try and watch it!
And for some reasons I can't explain, this song might actually refer to cheated girls universally. I mean, look at some of the lyrics like
"OMG, Who is she?"/I'm get drunk on jealousy/ But you'll come back each time you leave/ 'Cause darling, I'm a nightmare dressed like a daydream
 "Boys only want love if it's torture/ Don't say I didn't, say I didn't warn 'ya"
These clearly screams out the locked words inside girls who broke up with their boyfriend, and of course, the MV just juices the music even better. Totally recommended for girls who just broke up, I'm very sure you're gonna start replaying this song.
CRITICS! [1989, An Unexpected Change from the Queen of Country]

Taylor Swift, Queen of Country, released her fifth album, "1989" on 27 Oct 2014.
Shake It Off

This was a surprising change from country to pop and synthpop, which was firstly known from "Shake It Off", the leading single of the album. Although in my opinion this sudden change might lose some of those country-loving fans, the leading single is still pretty catchy and was able to make it to no. 1 on the Billboard 100.
Out of the Woods

The next one, "Out of the Woods", wasn't as interesting as I expected, but my fondness grew as I repeat the songs to listen well. It was somewhat deeper in synthpop, but overall, it was an "Okay" song.

The third single, "Welcome to New York" was criticized "weak" by some critics; however, I find it really nice (probably 'cause I love electronic), and the song is somewhat more electronic than the other.
Soon, the rest of the tracks were released along with the release of the album itself. Some of the songs kind of reminds me of some Lorde's music, like (Then I realized, Lorde helped in the production of the 1989 album) and also the track "Style" sounds kinda like "Turn to You (Mother's Day Special)" by Justin Bieber. While some of the songs like "Wildest Dreams" and "This Love" really remind me of Lana del Rey, and "Wildest Dreams" REALLY sound like Lana del Rey's "Without You".

Not trying to hate, but I think Taylor might be finding inspirations from other artists for this new change. However, this two songs were almost similar (well, not lyrically) musically. Try it out! I might not be right, and Swifties, I'm sorry, but I don't hate Taylor. In fact, I literally replayed this album a lot. *LOL*
Overall, the album was a surprisingly amazing change. Not only she stepped out of her boundaries in music, but also gained more experience and also made better songs while experimenting with her voice in the tracks of this album. Though I would suggest her not to went that far to pop, but this is a sign she has the talent to adapt to new genres.
