CREEPYPASTA: Innocent Souls
Hey there!! ...and welcome back to another post of Creepypasta, where I will try to destroy your childhoos or probably scare the heck out of you until you can't sleep at night.
Now before I begin, I'll show you a picture of a human form of We Bare Bears' bears
Now, you have a chance to either go find non-Creepypasta posts or continue. Enjoy! :D

PLOT
It was such a dark and drippy night. So dark, so blinding as the summer's sun rays. You can feel the rain drops dripping on your jacket, forming puddles on it. You are there for no purpose, no reason, but you keep walking through the hall of rocks and clay.

Then, you see a little light, like a candle lit or a star in the sky. It seems so perfect, too perfect to be natural. You walk towards it, but it doesn't seem to grow. As you get close, you feel a wall, a seemingly man-made wall. You notice a small hole, fit enough for your index finger. You see nothing but glows of yellow and gold.

As you get used to the brightness, you see four figures in the other room; three sitting and one standing. They look alike, with a little difference. Their skins are bleach as white paper, with almost unnoticeable eyes. They don't show any signs of genders and genitals, and there is something strange about each of them that differentiates them to one another.

One of the three sitting ones has needles in its eyes. The way it is stuck in their eyes, the eyes are forced to look up so the iris is only shown a little bit under the top eyelid.

Another one has needles in its ears. At some point, you noticed how long the needles were, much like the knitting needles but thin as a sewing needles.

The last one sitting has needles in its throat. But as you look, you noticed that no blood is flowing out of their skin, as if the wounds have healed and the needles have become a part of them.

The standing one, covered in needles, is awake and is staring at you, like the others. Although you can barely see their eyes, you can feel their staring gaze.

"Hello stranger" the needle-covered hummed. "I see you are there, so I must tell you a story"
"Story?" you ask.
"Feel free to sit and listen; take advantage of what I will never have again."
"Why?"
"I will tell you" the standing one looked at the other three "These are my siblings, we were all born at the same time at the same parents".
Introducing you to the one with needles on its ears "This is Hear. Hear was the first to come out of our mother's womb." Going to the next one, "This is Speak, the second child" The third "This is See, the third child" With a pause, the standing one stares at you in sadness and solemness, "I am Feel, the last child. Here is what happened and why we are like this"

"We were born by seemingly normal parents, until Hear was born. When Hear was born, they put needles in their ears, so they could hear no evil. But Hear cried louder than other babies, so they did none to us. Our parents say that many words are horrid and should never be heard by anyone, but at such a young age being able to hear is important for everyone, for a baby cries to get the attention of the parents, and thus if the baby cannot hear themselves they will cry louder because they do not believe the guardians can hear them"

"After some time, they censored our bodies so that they couldn't identify our sex, and also because they didn’t want us to see genitalia. They told us that we were blessed, for the human body is a scarring sight that no one should ever have to witness, and some witness it in their reflection at a young age. We did not and thus we were luckier than them"

"Then, they continue what they did to See, so See could not see evil, Noticing the mess they made, the decided not to continue it on Speak and I"

"When we were around six, Speak heard 'bad language' and could possibly spread it. So they put needles on Speak's throat, so they could not destroy my innocent mind by such words."

"Finally, I was bullied at school. No one believed what I told them about the thing my parents did to my siblings, since they always stay at home to keep them away from 'scums of society'"

"Since I got bullied, my parents didn't like me feeling the pain of 'evil', so they pierce me with every centimeter to numb me from future pain. At times, I wonder if all these horrid things they're trying to protect us from will be worth it in the end, because the pain, it hurts. It really, really hurts"

"Have you tried to escape?"

"Yes" as tears start streaming down "That's why I'm like this, I was trying to show my siblings the evil world"

"You have needles on your feet?"

Without saying much, Feel lifts up its foot, showing the butts of needles piercing the foot. Again, silently putting it down. “I am to stand here, to warn others of what to do to help their children and save them from the evil of the world that is so variable and uncontrolled. But do not heed their warnings, heed mine, and know what happens when you try to shelter your children this way.”

"Why don't you escape now?"

"I did, that's when mom and dad caught me. I don't want to anger them again"

"Are they still alive?"

"It doesn't matter. Now, go, before mommy and daddy get you too.”

You run back, getting more and more distant from the light. You think of whether you should help them or not, but you know that you couldn't do anything.

The darkness seemed so long, as if you were in an abyss. Your feet starts getting tired, but you still keep running, until your feet can't carry you anymore. Then your body starts giving up, and you're left there, as if paralyzed, but still with a sore feeling deep inside your muscles from the endless lifeless support it has had to bear. This is how you're going to die, alone, lost, silent. In those last moments, you wondered who will talk to those four innocent souls next, and if they will be more fortunate than you.

CRITICS!
I opened Creepypasta today (12 Nov 2015), and the first thing I saw was this. To be honest, the title "Innocent Souls" kinda reminded me of some horror movie. Now, the story, in my opinion, is amazing. The original one might be better, 'cause to be honest, I just made it shorter. Most of the dialogues are copy-pasted, and there's a reason why I love this story. It has that novel style in it, and not to mention, the composition of the story is really well written.
I'm guessing the story is about society being lost in the dark world (the cave) and not knowing the evil they're living in. After gaining such knowledge, one would surely try to leave this 'evil' world, but of course, the body will die while the soul is released from the individual's ignorance ("You are there for no purpose") after knowing such knowledge.
All in all, I love the concept of the story. Totally worth the read, plus, it's not as scary as you think... well, if you're being overly imaginative.
*evil laughs* >:D
CREEPYPASTA: smile.dog
Another month, and it's the month of horror.. *evil laugh*
I mean, if there's a time of the month to remind me that I'm single (more like everytime)... there should be a month in where I can tell 'harmless' horror stories for people to sleep along with.

Anyway, this is one of my favourite Creepypasta too. So, before we start.
Look how adorable these puppies are...
Now you have a chance to go and find other non "Creepypasta" posts, 'cause I'll be honest, this is the first Creepypasta I've read, so it leaves a mark on me, but somehow I love how words bring horrific atmosphere.

OK, here we go..

PLOT
I interviewed with Mary E. in the summer of 2007. The things she said made little sense, but I could tell that she was crying, and more often than not her objections to speaking with me centered around an incoherent diatribe on her dreams - her nightmares. Her husband, Terence, would apologize when the exercise was ceased.

Mary E. was one of the estimated 400 victims to see the image hyperlinked in BBS, and is one of those who spoke openly about her experiences. While the rest remains unknown, probably dead.

In 2005, when I was only in tenth grade, smile.jpg was first brought to my attention by my burgeoning interest in web-based phenomena; Mary was the most often cited victim of what is sometimes referred to as "Smile.dog", the being smile.jpg is reputed to display.

It is unique because, though the entire phenomenon centers on a picture file, that file is nowhere to be found on the internet; certainly many photomanipulated simulacra litter the web, showing up with the most frequency on sites such as the imageboard 4chan, particularly the /x/-focused paranormal subboard. It is suspected these are fakes because they do not have the effect the true smile.jpg is believed to have, namely sudden onset temporal lobe epilepsy and acute anxiety.

Neither "smile.jpg" nor "smile.dog" is mentioned in Wikipedia, and it's deleted by admins in websites.

...
Mary wasn't in good shape. In March 2008, she emailed me.
Dear Mr. L.,
I am incredibly sorry about my behavior last summer when you came to interview me. I hope you understand that it was no fault of yours, but rather my own problems that led me to act out as I did. I realized that I could have handled the situation more decorously; however, I hope you will forgive me. At the time, I was afraid.
You see, for fifteen years I have been haunted by smile.jpg. Smile.dog comes to me in my sleep every night. I know that sounds silly, but it is true. There is an ineffable quality about my dreams, my nightmares, that makes them completely unlike any real dreams I have ever had. I do not move and do not speak. I simply look ahead, and the only thing ahead of me is the scene from that horrible picture. I see the beckoning hand, and I see Smile.dog. It talks to me.
It is not a dog, of course, though I am not quite sure what it really is. It tells me it will leave me alone if only I do as it asks. All I must do, it says, is "spread the word". That is how it phrases its demands. And I know exactly what it means: it wants me to show it to someone else.
And I could. The week after my incident I received in the mail a manila envelope with no return address. Inside was only a 3 ½ -inch floppy diskette. Without having to check, I knew precisely what was on it.
I thought for a long time about my options. I could show it to a stranger, a coworker… I could even show it to Terence, as much as the idea disgusted me. And what would happen then? Well, if Smile.dog kept its word I could sleep. Yet if it lied, what would I do? And who was to say something worse would not come for me if I did as the creature asked?
So I did nothing for fifteen years, though I kept the diskette hidden amongst my things. Every night for fifteen years Smile.dog has come to me in my sleep and demanded that I spread the word. For fifteen years I have stood strong, though there have been hard times. Many of my fellow victims on the BBS board where I first encountered smile.jpg stopped posting; I heard some of them committed suicide. Others remained completely silent, simply disappearing off the face of the web. They are the ones I worry about the most.
I sincerely hope you will forgive me, Mr. L., but last summer when you contacted me and my husband about an interview I was near the breaking point. I decided I was going to give you the floppy diskette. I did not care if Smile.dog was lying or not, I wanted it to end. You were a stranger, someone I had no connection with, and I thought I would not feel sorrow when you took the diskette as part of your research and sealed your fate.
Before you arrived I realized what I was doing: was plotting to ruin your life. I could not stand the thought, and in fact I still cannot. I am ashamed, Mr. L., and I hope that this warning will dissuade you from further investigation of smile.jpg. You may in time encounter someone who is, if not weaker than I, then wholly more depraved, someone who will not hesitate to follow Smile.dog's orders.
Stop while you are still whole.

Terence then told me that Mary killed herself later that month. While cleaning up the various things she'd left behind, closing email accounts and the like, he happened upon the above message. He was a man in shambles; he wept as he told me to listen to his wife's advice. He'd found the diskette, he revealed, and burned it until it was nothing but a stinking pile of blackened plastic. The part that most disturbed him, however, was how the diskette had hissed as it melted. Like some sort of animal, he said.
...
Almost a full year after I'd returned from my disastrous interview with Mary E., I received another email:
To: jml@****.com
From: elzahir82@****.com
Subj: smile
Hello
I found your e-mail adress thru a mailing list your profile said you are interested in smiledog. I have saw it it is not as bad as every one says I have sent it to you here. Just spreading the word.
:)
I started thinking if this was a hoax, and Mary E. was probably mentally unstable. I wanted to know if such legend exists. If I downloaded the image, if I looked at it, and if Mary turned out to be correct, if Smile.dog came to me in my dreams demanding I spread the word, what would I do? Would I live my life as Mary had, fighting against the urge to give in until I died? Or would I simply spread the word, eager to be put to rest? And if I chose the latter route, how could I do it? Whom would I burden in turn?
If I went through with my earlier intention to write a short article about smile.jpg, I decided, I could attach it as evidence. And anyone who read the article, anyone who took interest, would be affected. And even assuming the smile.jpg attached to the email was genuine, would I be capricious enough to save myself in that manner?
Could I spread the word?
Yes. Yes I could.
CRITICS
Sorry if this one is long, I had no choice. The full atmosphere requires full details, and my summary (along with some copy-paste from the original) is probably less scary, but if you want to read the original story, go ahead. HERE's the link!
Now... what makes this one of my favourite story is how detailed it is to explain how dire the situation Mary E. is in, and how curious I am to know what this Smile.dog is and is it real or not. Plus, what makes this story more realistic is how it brings 'you' into the story, as if you were the one investigating the whole legend. Believe me, when the picture came, I even had doubts to whether I should see it or not. Overall, the story is one amazing, well written literature, and the image is just enough to increase your curiosity (or fear). Although it's a bit too melancholic, it's still one amazing story. Not sure if you see it or not, but you can see a bloody hand next to the smiling Siberian husky.
Ah, btw, that picture was an edit, and so is this.. the 'another' version of smile.dog
CREEPYPASTA: The Train Man
Another one of those I stumbled upon while reading some stories. Now before I begin, reminders for newcomers, this will be a really scary story (Well, depending on how you see it). So, if you are one of those who doesn't like horror genre stuffs, I suggest you better find other posts in my blog rather than CREEPYPASTAs. As a ritual, before I ruin your imagination, please enjoy this beautiful picture/art while you have the chance to leave.
Anyhow, let's begin...
(As usual, I'll summarize.)

NOTE
The main character is a first person "I"

PLOT
I opened the old door where I used to grew up, and I can smell the dust rushing in my nose. The sound of boards creaking as I walk in, this brings back both good and bad memories, only a reminder of Train Man.

Once when I was a young boy, I used to live in this old house.

One day, me and my little brother decided to investigate an old tree house that my mom told me about. It was built by my uncle while he was out in the middle of the woods.

Just added this to give some feels
At that moment, I didn't expect anything to happen, but as we walked on, our surrounding starts becoming unfamiliar. My brother was starting to panic that we might got lost. I, on the other hand, tried to calm down and assess my surrounding, and I noticed an old tree house. Without telling my brother, I walked towards the house.
We climbed the ladders which leads to the house, and we start investigating. There were lots of magazines on the desk, and my brother would find this place like a Heaven for us to hang out. Upon searching, I noticed uncle's private notebook.
During our investigation, we could hear our mother's beckoning call from the woods, telling us to go home. As we walked back, I heard a soft rustle behind me, and to my reaction, I looked back. I tried scanning any changes that happened, and that was until I looked up at the tree house. In the small window hole I saw a glimpse of a man more than three times my age staring down at me hauntingly. Dark, dead black eyes, wild hair held only back by a train conductor’s hat, and dark green disgusting teeth, that slowly grew into an grisly smile. My foot got stuck on a tree's root, and I ran as fast as possible, not looking back at that devilish figure.

As I got home, I told mom what I saw, and she got mad and told me to never say such things. Even my brother didn't believe me. I got no support after going through that traumatizing moment, and I feared that I might've gone crazy.
Fear blocked me from almost anything, but my curiosity grew, and I wanted to know who the man in uncle's tree house was. So I went back, and as I entered the house, my first instinct was to look at uncle's notebook.
I pulled open to a random page and saw writings my uncle had made. They explained things he did and saw, dreams he had and wanted, and told a tale of an experience not so different from my own. My uncle wrote that he and his friend Toby saw a homeless man sitting on the railroad tracks in the road, drinking beer and rambling to himself. They stared at him curiously and laughed when he began to doze off. When he saw them, he got aggressive, and threw his bottle at them. They sprinted away back into the forest and went back to the safety of my uncle’s house.
My uncle called him the Train Man, which is where I first thought to call him that. A simple name, I thought, for a man so eerily frightening. At the time I had no proof that the man my uncle saw was the man that I saw in the tree house, but I knew that he was in fact, the Train Man. While reading the notebook I heard a raspy cough and distorted laugh beneath the tree house.
I start panicking, and dare not look into the exit hole and start looking for an object of protection, and found a pocket knife. As the noise gets closer, all I could do is crouching in the corner. The noise of the man climbing the ladders, the noise of those creaky board. I could feel him standing next to me with his disgusting aroma, but dare not open my eyes.
He grabbed my neck from the back of my neck and held me up like a prize. He gripped my throat hard and stopped me from breathing. He pulled my face level with his own and croaked, LOOK AT ME BOY, I AM THE TRAIN MAN! He bellowed this again, and again, until I finally sprung my eyes open and stared into his dead black marbles.
KNOW ME, FEAR ME, AND ALWAYS REMEMBER ME! The Train Man’s voice transferred onto my face like a blanket of musk and forced me to cough fearfully. WHO AM I?? The Train Man said this with the look of absolute hate in his eyes, with the face of death, claiming another soul. WHO…. AM… I???? ANSWER ME NOW, BOY! I slowly told him what he wanted to hear, what I dreaded having to say, the Train Man…
The Train Man’s evil grin returned and he dropped me to the floor with a thud. I began to cry deeply and shut my eyes again.
...
I ran back home with the notebook, and promised to never come back again.

20 years have passed, and now I'm back to my old house I used to grew up in. I went to the tree house and start digging up to look for his notebook and I start reading. Nothing concerning the Train Man was here, or on the next page, or the next. I keep flipping through the book until I get to a part where a picture is drawn. It’s the Train Man, sitting against a tree drinking and holding a knife. Behind the tree a pair of small legs are jutting out, and a pool of blood is beginning to form from them.

The page after the picture is something my uncle wrote, a story about him and my mother walking through the woods with a friend of theirs.
"The other day, when me and Michelle were walking down to the lake, this boy named Jared asked us if we wanted to see something cool. Michelle was kinda nervous about it but I told her it would be fine and we walked with Jared to the railroad tracks that entered the forest. We walked along it for a few minutes before Jared told us to go this way, and he made us go into this one part of the woods. I started to get a little scared when he said this, but I didn’t want Jared to think I was a baby so I went along with him. After a minute Jared told us to be quiet, and showed us this small wooden house on the ground. We slowly creeped over to it and Jared told us to look into the a small window on the outside of it. Inside on a small dirty mattress was the Train Man that me and Toby saw before, drinking on the railroad tracks. I don’t know why but this scared me and I almost started to cry. Jared then pulled out a match book and lit one, then tossed it into the window. Jared told us to run over and wait behind a tree. We did, and after a moment smoke began to come out through the windows. Jared could not stop laughing, and Michelle started to cry. I didn’t know what to do so I just started to grab Michelle’s arm and slowly back away. Suddenly, the Train Man ran out of his hut with a knife in his hand and started to look around. Jared’s laughing and Michelle’s crying gave us away immediately, and he ran over to us. Me and Michelle ran away, but Jared just stood there laughing. Michelle ran away to the train tracks, but I stayed and watched. The Train Man grabbed Jared by the throat and slammed him hard against a tree. Jared’s feet were kicking but he did not scream, I could not see his face but I assumed he was as scared as I was, The Train Man then rummaged through Jared’s pockets and pulled out the match book, and crumpled it in his hands. The Train Man, still holding Jared by the throat, carried him over to the burning hut and tossed him inside. The Train Man, wielding his knife, then went inside after him. When I saw this I ran away back towards the train tracks and Michelle."

Reading this, I realized that the Train Man is just another homeless man, living in the forest. But during my childhood time, he was an evil spirit.
Through the book there were multiple tales of encounters with him, written by both my mother and my uncle. My mother had known about the Train Man, I thought. I flipped to the very last written page in the notebook and found something my mother had written. It was written very sloppily and was almost illegible.
"Adam is dead, THE TRAIN MAN KILLED HIM, we went back to see what happened to Jared and we saw the Train Man’s dead body in the ash of his hut and HE CAME BACK TO LIFE. He got up from the ground and killed him with his knife. I couldn’t do anything, he was so big! I’m telling mom and everyone that he drowned in the lake and the river took him away. Nobody would ever believe me! I’m writing this so somebody knows, so somebody wont get killed by the Train Man!"

I close the notebook and stand up. It’s dark now, the moon is out and full, and the heavy night is making itself very aware to me. I leave the house and head towards the woods, where the Train Man lives.
As I reach the tree house, I hear the all too familiar sounds of the Train Man’s laughter filled me with an ancient dread. I turn around and there he stands, the same dirty train conductor’s outfit, the same old hat barely holding back the agelessly unkept hair, and the same evil smirk, shining brightly beneath those two pitch black eyes. I quickly rush to the floor where the notebook lay and retrieve it. The Train Man pulls out his knife from his overalls and puts it in a slashing position. I take the notebook and turn the lighter on beneath it. This does little to slow the Train Man down, and he slices my left arm, making me drop the notebook to the floor, and making me fall backwards. He did his best to keep me away from the notebook. The Train Man begins to laugh loudly at me and then bellows, YOU CAN’T KILL THE TRAIN MAN BOY! NO ONE CAN KILL THE TRAIN MAN!
I ignored and kept reaching for the book, and as I reached it. I light my lighter on the corner, and a small ember start appearing on Train Man. The once cocky man with dead eyes now grew to have more life than ever before. As I start burning the corners of the book, ember grew bigger.
From the ground I slowly stand up and grab the knife from the Train Man’s hand and I stab him in the heart. The knife stays in his chest and the fire inside of him turns the Train Man’s eyes to a dark blood red. And right before the Train Man turned to ash, he looks at me, and smiles.
I leave the tree house, not having to worry anymore, and I can finally say goodbye to Train Man.

CRITICS
The story is good, and it does gives me that chilly feels, as if someone was about to choke me. The concept of the Train Man himself, however, kind of reminds me of Freddy from "A Nightmare On Elm Street", and the ending itself reminded me of Harry Potter's "Chambers of Secret", in where you must destroy the book. I never cared about that part, I mean, authors need some references to motivate their writings, but one thing that pisses me off while reading this is the grammatical error in the story. I changed some part in my summary, but I still put some part in where they made errors, like "He grabbed my neck from the back of my neck and held me up like a prize". How can there be a neck from the behind of your neck?! And don't let me start on the error usage of past and present tense of the story. I normally would ignore such errors, but as I continue reading, more of 'em are made and this literally ruins the whole story AND changed the whole meaning. I mean, I am here to tell you how good your literature skills are NOT becoming an English teacher who has a damn hard time trying to understand what my student is trying to write. Still, I re-read the whole thing only to check back the errors and read it normally with the errors corrected, and TBH, it is much better with less errors. I could've rated the story higher, but it just doesn't deserve an 8 or 9, yet again, not so embarrassingly boring that I would rate it 4 or 5. So I would say it's an OK story for intermediate Creepypasta lovers.

I didn't expect my Creepypasta post would be the first to reach hundred views, so here's one of my personal favorite, and trust me when I say it's my favorite, you'll be paranoid whilst you're reading it.
..and here's a picture of a cute dog, y'know, just in case you change your mind before reading the whole thing.

 NOTE!
Main character is "I"

PLOT
The Rake
In the 2003s, a humanoid creature sparked the news media. Soon, in 2006, there are several documentaries dating from 12th century till present, spanning from 4 continents, and almost all are identical. I've been in contact with the member of the group and was able to get some excerpts from them.

A Suicide Note : 1964
"As I prepare to take my life. I think it's necessary for me to do this to end my pain, and it was all his fault. For once I woke up and felt his presence. And once I awoke to see his presence, and again to hear his voice and looked into his eyes. I can't sleep not knowing what might happen to me in my next sleep. I can't ever wake up. Goodbye"
A Journal Entry (translated from Spanish): 1880
"I experience the greatest terror. I see his eyes when I close mine. They're hollow. Black. I will not sleep. His voice (unintelligible text)."
A Mariner's Log: 1691
"He came to me in my sleep. From the foot of my bed I felt a sensation. He took everything. We must return to England. We shall not return here again at the request of the Rake."
From a Witness: 2006
"About 4am, I woke to think that my husband got up to use the bathroom. I used the moment to steal the sheets, only to wake him up. I apologized and told him I thought he went out of bed. When he turned to face me, he gasped and pulled his feet up from the end of the bed so quickly his knee almost knocked me out of the bed. He then grabbed me and said nothing.
After adjusting to the dark, I saw the cause of his reaction. At the bed's foot, there was something sitting and facing away from us. It appeared to be a naked man, or a large hairless dog of a sort, with a disturbing and unnatural body position. As if it just got hit by a truck or something. My first thought was to help him, concerning to his condition.
My husband, on the other hand, is in fetal position, glancing at me occasionally before looking at the creature.
In a flurry motion, the creature crawled quickly in a flailing sort of motion right along the bed until it was less than a foot from my husband's face. It was completely silent for 30 seconds (or 5, it just seemed like a while) just looking at my husband. The creature then placed its hand on his knee and ran into the hallway, leading to the kids' rooms.I screamed and ran for the lightswitch, planning to stop him before he hurt my children. When I got to the hallway, the light from the bedroom was enough to see it crouching and hunched over about 20 feet away. He turned around and looked directly at me, covered in blood. I flipped the switch and saw my daughter Clara.
She was very badly injured and spoke only once more in her short life. She said "he is the Rake". She didn't survive that night.
Police helped a lot, local newspaper took a lot of interest. However, the story was never published and local news never updated.
After several months staying at the hotel near my parent's house. We decided to go back home, and I decide to look for answers myself. We got a man who had the same experience and shared our experiences. He soon told us that 2 other people in NY who had seen the creature referred it as the Rake.
It took a lot of time to search through the small information on the Internet. Multiple people mentioned being spoken to, my daughter included. This led us to wonder if the Rake had visited any of us before our last encounter.
I set up a digital recorder near my bed and left it running all night, for two weeks. I would tediously scan through the sounds of me rolling around in my bed each day when I woke up. By the end of the second week, I was quite used to the occasional sound of sleep while blurring through the recording at 8 times the normal speed.
On the first day of the third week, I thought I heard something different. What I found was a shrill voice. It was the Rake. I can't listen to it long enough to even begin to transcribe it. I haven't let anyone listen to it yet. All I know is that I've heard it before, and I now believe that it spoke when it was sitting in front of my husband. I don't remember hearing anything at the time, but for some reason, the voice on the recorder immediately brings me back to that moment.
The thoughts that must have gone through my daughter's head make me very upset.
I have not seen the Rake since he ruined my life, but I know that he has been in my room while I slept. I know and fear that one night I'll wake up to see him staring at me."

Yes, the story is pretty long, consisting of researches found by the main character itself, but what I really love about this story is its simplicity yet imaginative words, It didn't overly use "realistic" words, like bloodshot for instance, to describe the whole story. Truth be told, the first time I read it, I would constantly look behind to see if anything was behind me. I mean c'mon guys, imagine yourself sleeping soundly, only to be awaken by something that's so silent that made you think you're just dreaming, every night... and this thing prefers to kill its victim while they're sleeping.
Another thing is, I think that there's more than just one Rake, since multiple reports in different places are found. This made me think that the Rake could be real, but of course, I'm not gonna spoil it (You gotta read it yourselves).
Plus, this story is mostly copied from the original since I can't paraphrase most of its parts to maintain its creepiness. IF my summary didn't scare you, try reading the original, and the VID. This story deserves more recognition. It's one of those stories that makes you wanna stay awake to make sure the Rake isn't there to stare at you.
So, how was the story? How much would you rate it? 'Cause I'm definitely rating it 9.9/10 (nothing's perfect)

CREEPYPASTA : annie96 is typing
One of the most viral Creepypasta that I thought most of you probably knew. Still, this chat leads a lot of readers to believe the story was real. For those who don't know this Creepypasta,
Look at these cute M&M sized emojis....

...and now, reconsider whether to read it or not.

Again, I'm just gonna summarize the whole thing. The link for the "glitchable" and "vibratable" chat will be available below.

PLOT
annie96 (let's call Annie) was texting mcdavey (David) in the middle of the night when Annie heard some noises in her backyard (NOTE: Annie's parents were on vacation). She notices that there was someone digging and ruining her garden, and after a while, she discovered some features that resembles David; the jacket with his name and his face. While she was trying to call out to "David", the guy turned back and smiled at her.
After a short moment, the mysterious guy made ITS way into Annie's house. Annie hid while David called the cops which will arrive in 30 minutes. Annie described the being as something disturbing.

Short moments later, Annie replied that she was 'OK'. And the two of them chatted UNTIL David asked "how do I know if this is you?", and annie96 went offline.

The summary is probably not that scary. To read the full chat with glitches and vibrations, click HERE.

TBH, this feels like the best Creepypasta I've read that relates to modern topic. According to Pascal, the story was meant to depict how anonymous people in social media could be. You won't know who is chatting with you, and in this case, you can probably sense the few final messages from annie96 from the actual story.

What surprised me is that most people believed that this was real, until one Tweet reminded that you can't go offline in Whatsapp like annie96 does. Based on Pascal's interview, you would notice "annie96 is typing..." at the intense point of the chat, and he used Javascript and CSS to make the glitches and vibrations, which is only available to some phones. I'll be honest, the story DID made me think about the possible endings. If Annie was caught by the guy, that would explain the sudden change in chat format from annie96 last few messages.
Annie would never survive.
Why? 30 minutes for cops to arrive at your house when an unknown entity is in your house is way too long! Even if you hid pretty well, REMEMBER! The thing you're dealing with isn't human, it knows where you probably are. Anyways, I'm not gonna discuss how the possible endings support all these, I'll let you do the judging.

Ouw, BTW, if this was real, never look out your window in the middle of the night when your parents are on vacation. Seriously, I daren't look out my window after reading this.
CREEPYPASTA: Gateway of the Mind
And... another Creepypasta! This was once one of my personal favourite, probably 'cause it's scientific yet religious and scary at the same time. Now before we begin, let's do the ritual...
Look at that cute cool dog reading a book. Now take a moment to reconsider whether you should continue reading or not, 'cause what you're about to read can confuse your belief (I can tell because I went through it), as this story is God related.
As usual, I'll summarize the whole plot, and if you're interested in the full version, go ahead and read it. I'll provide a link.

PLOT
In 1983, a group of scientists hypothesized that if we lose our 5 main senses, we would be able to get in contact with God.
They took an elderly man who "has nothing to live for" as a subject for the experiment, and undergo surgery to cut off stimuli sensory nerves, but leaving with full muscular function. Without sense of smell, sight, taste, hearing, and touch, the man is left with his thoughts.
It's been observed that he started stuttering sentences that he himself couldn't hear, and after 4 days, he claimed to hear noises in his head. Assuming it was psychosis, they ignored it.
After two days, he claimed he hears the voice of his wife (which was unconvincing). Then started to name out the scientists' deceased relatives. He repeated personal informations only their dead spouse would know. At this point, most of the scientists left the study.
After a week, the subject claimed that he was bombarded with thousands of noises everytime he wakes up. He frequently hits himself to the wall to gain 'real life' pain, and start begging for sedatives in order to sleep. It worked for 3 days, but he starts getting night terrors afterwards.
A day later, he starts screaming and scscratching his non-functional eyes, hoping to sense something from the real world. He starts making hysterical voices and at one point he shout "No heaven, no forgiveness" for 5 hours straight. He begs to be killed but scientists told him that he was close to God.
The next day, he starts biting of chumps of flesh from his arm. The scientists rushed in to avoid him from killing himself, and tied him.
After a few hours, he stares blankly at the ceiling and constantly cry which continued for 2 weeks, resulting in dehydration.
Eventually, he turned his head and made a focus eye contact with a scientist for the first time and whispered "I've spoken with God, and he has abandoned us.", and his vital signs died.

CRITICS
Short, scientific and religious, yet questionable. It's this kind of stories that I really love from Creepypasta. It made me constantly thinking if it really happened or not. Was it real or hoax?
Although the main plot has been taken by lots of movies in the past, I still find this story really convincing. Plus, there's 2 videos to support this story. However, the update at the end of the real story just numbs the whole mystery (won't tell you why, read it for youself :P). The story made sense, however, the chills only came at the end of the story. How the man suffered never really gave a scary atmosphere; instead, I find it just like a typical experiment. The real chill comes to the moment he looked at the scientist despite with no visual senses, and the sentence "I've spoken to God, and he has abandoned us". I used to love this story until they updated, and I'll let your curiosity do its own job.
FULL STORY RIGHT HERE.
So, did it change your pespective towards God? *evil stare*
CREEPYPASTA: sonic.exe
Another creepypasta for this month! Some of you probably knew this from Youtube gamers, but I'm still gonna share it. As usual, I won't share the full story, but rather would simplify the story, so if you wanna read the story with full detail about the blood and stuffs, it's your choice. Before I begin, enjoy this cute picture of Sonic the Hedgehog and have a chance to leave if you dun wanna have your childhood memory ruined yet.
Let's begin then, Once upon a time....

NOTE
The main character is a first person, so don't get confused if I used "I"

SUMMARIZED STORY
I am a total Sonic fan, and obviously as a youngster, I love the newer versions of the game, but a classic try won't hurt. I personally prefer not to play hacked games due to personal experience...
OK, it all started when I was playing Sonic Unleashed when I saw the mailman put something in my mailbox, so I paused and go to take a look what I got. It was nothing more than a CD with a note on it, and I realized it was from Kyle, a friend of mine who I haven't contacted for the last 2 weeks. I noticed that his handwritings were unusually scratchy, as if he hurriedly written it. The note was written;
"Tom,
I can't take it anymore, I had to get rid of this thing somehow before it was too late, and I was hoping you'd do it for me. I can't do it, he’s after me, and if you don't destroy this CD, he'll come after you too, he's too fast for me.... Please Tom, destroy this god-forsaken disc before he comes after you too, it's too late for me.
Destroy the disc, and you'll destroy him, but do it quick otherwise he'll catch you. Don't even play the game, it's what he wants, just destroy it.
Please...
Kyle"
Well, that was weird.. Even though Kyle IS my best friend, I didn't do what he asked me to. I mean, how can a CD bring so much harm to someone? So I opened the disk and see the CD with a black markered written "SONIC.EXE", and it doesn't look anything like Kyle's writing, so I assume it must be from others then. Probably a friend of his. Obviously, as a fan of Sonic, I quickly dashed up and installed it into my computer and start playing it.
The game started like the classic 1991 Sonic originals, but when I pressed Start, something odd happened in a glitch of a second. The sky turned black, the sea turned red, like blood. The emblem turned rusty and old, and SEGA 1991 turned SEGA 666. But the freakiest thing is that Sonic's eye turned pitch black with bloody red pupils, staring RIGHT AT ME, with his smile widen longer.
I was disturbed, but as the game starts, I noticed a lot of things that disturbed me. The save file select from Sonic the Hedgehog 3 popped up, and I was like "WTF? What's this doing in the first Sonic game?", anyway, then I notice something off, the background was the dark cloudy sky of the Bad Stardust Speedway level from Sonic CD, and there were only three save files. The music was that creepy Caverns of Winter music from Earthbound, only it was extended and seemed to have been in reverse. And the image for the save file where you see a preview of the level you're on is just red static for all three files.
Another thing is that you only get to play three characters; Tails, Knuckles, and surprisingly, Dr. Robotnik (I mean, how can you get to play this character in the classic). And that's when I noticed something weird is really happening.
Yeah it definitely looked hacked, it was really creepy, but as a smart gamer, I wasn't scared (or at least I tried not to be), I told myself that it was just a hacked game and there's nothing wrong with that. Anyways, shaking off the creeped out feeling I picked File 1 and chose Tails and when I selected and got started.
The game started normal, until I started noticing there were no enemies. As I go on further, I noticed dead animals with their head decapitated from their bodies. Then as I saw Sonic. Tails stopped, and smiled as if greeting him, but there was no response. So Tails slowly get closer to Sonic, and suddenly... Sonic looks back with his devilish smile and lunged at Tails.
There was a blackout for a few seconds with Tails scream. Soon, I realized, Tails was colored in black with blood shot eyes, looking sad straight at me. Afterwards, I chose Knuckles, and he ended up with the same fate. At that moment I decided to take a nap, which turned into a nightmare. I dreamt that Sonic was in front of me, saying "You can't run kid... You're in my world now." Then he plunges, and I woke as a reaction. I used my last chance, Dr. Robotnik, as my character to reveal what's really going on. But it ended like the other two. A red static started appearing, then suddenly an image appeared.
The image showed a hyper-realistic of Sonic standing in the darkness where you can only see his face while his head and torso faded into black, and when I say hyper-realistic, I mean like he looked so real you could actually see the lines in his blue fur, as if you could actually feel the fur if you touched the screen.
His face...oh god, he had the most horrifying smile I had ever seen.
And that's saying something considering I saw that image at the start of the game.
His eyes are wide and black and once again crying blood and there were two small glowing red dots in those black eyes staring RIGHT AT ME, as if staring into my mind. His grin was wide and demonic, it literally stretched to the sides of his face like a Cheshire Cat except Sonic had fangs, VERY SHARP fangs, he had stains of blood and small bits of flesh on his lips and fangs as if he ate some animal.
I stared at that gruesome image for a good 30 seconds, never taking my eyes off it, I felt as if he was actually looking at me, smiling at me...that face, it just took 10 seconds for it to etch itself into my brain for good.
Then the screen flickered with red static again 3 times, and on the 3rd time I heard the Kefka laugh, except this time it sounded distorted, demonic even...
It went back to the image again except this time there was the text again though it was messed up, but it was pretty much one of the most horrifying things I looked at since I had this game...
"I AM GOD."
Suddenly, the computer shut down, and won't open. However a moment afterwards, it opens, but only this time, I couldn't take the game out. I stared at the screen for at least 25 seconds, and I heard a whisper behind me saying, "Try to keep this interesting for me, Tom..."
And as I look back, it was a Sonic plushie with black eyes, and blood shot pupils.
...

CRITICS
Now, I'm gonna get real... There's WAY TOO many blood in the story. I'm seriously not scared of this story, for few reasons, I ain't a gamer, so any of the descriptions won't help me build my imagination at all. Second, it just doesn't seem realistic, although I'll be true, the picture is creepy. Third, putting a plushie at the end of the story is just a major twist from creepy to cute (not what I want from Creepypasta). The story is just plain, I'm sorry, not being rude, but the game is way much creepier than the story itself. It's kind of like the "movie is USUALLY less entertaining compared to the book" thing.. only in this concept, the game is better than the story itself. I understand that words aren't able to give full creepy effects. That's probably the reason why the game is much better, but again, not to ruin your childhood memories.. if you wanna play the game, you could search for it, and for the full story, CLICK HERE!
My favourite part was probably the moment "I" heard a whisper. And if you made it this far, what do you hink about the story??
CREEPYPASTA: Squidward's Suicide
Hello, and yes.. I almost forgot about this theme. I found out that sharing out "Jeff the Killer" for the first CREEPYPASTA post was a bit hardcore for newcomers.
Just to make those feared "Jeff" calm
down. Cos let's be honest, he's scary
So, I guess I'll start off slow. This one is one of the well-known creepypastas, and if you want your childhood memories to remain colorful and innocent, I suggest you don't continue reading the story, 'cause what is told in this story is (for some) disturbingly uncomfortable. Now, let's begin...
I'll make long story short, this creepypasta is about an unreleased Spongebob Squarepants episode, "Squidward's Suicide". The title (sure says it all) sounded creepy, but at the same time, remember the episode "Rock-a-bye-Bivalve" in which Spongebob and Patrick adopts a baby scallop, which is probably a lame joke for "How Sex Works". Anyhow, the "Squidward's Suicide" begins with the usual opening song and starts off with Squidward playing his clarinet when he heard Spongebob and Patrick laughing. As usual, he stops and tells Spongebob and Patrick to keep it down since he has a concert later, and (as usual) both of them said ok and went to Sandy's dome.
The bubble screen came to skip unnecessary parts and skipped to the end of Squidward's concert, and something strange about it is that everyone (including Spongebob) booing him. Another thing is that the crowd's eyes seem too realistic for the show itself.
Squidward went home and started sobbing how a while (I have no idea how long). After a while, the screen blurred and twitched to what seemed to be a picture of a dead child, and what makes it worse is that the shadow of the photographer was shown in it. Then the screen switched back to Squidward sobbing, only this time, blood start dripping out of his eyes. Again, after a few seconds, the screen changed to another child with one eye slightly popped out, then back to Squidward. This time, Squidward just stares into the camera as if he was watching "us".
Squidward was just staring at the viewer, full frame of the face, for about 3 seconds. The shot quickly panned out and that deep voice said "DO IT" and we see in Squidward's hands a shotgun. He immediately puts the gun in his mouth and pulls the trigger. Realistic blood and brain matter splatters the wall behind him, and his bed, and he flies back with the force. The last 5 seconds of this episode show his body on the bed, on his side, one eye dangling on what's left of his head above the floor, staring blankly at it. Then the episode ends.
What happened to the kids who died in the episode? No one knew. No evidence of who the murderer or where or when the murder happened.

Again, as I've said, this is just a shorter version of the story in my own words. To read it full alongside with the video, READ IT HERE!!

Now, in my opinion, comparing it to the usual Creepypastas, "Squidward's Suicide" is more of a 'disturbing' story rather than a scary one. I mean, I'll be honest. "Jeff The Killer" scared me, and I had a hard time sleeping just because of it. "Squidward's Suicide" (altho not as scary as "Jeff The Killer") is more of those "ruining my childhood memories"... The one that changed my perspective towards "Spongebob Squarepants"  shows innocence. Of course, I knew what the story was gonna serve, I mean, cmon guys, this is Creepypasta. Obviously something disturbing is bound to happen. One thing I loved about this story is how they provide us a video to show Squidward's "looking at the camera" scene. It's probably one of the story supports, you know, to make it seem more "It Happened"-like. But overall, I do understand why this story gets famous in the Internet world. It's perfect for new comers to get interested to Creepypasta, rather than jumping in to "Top Scary" stories which will freak the heck out of you. Trust me, there are really scary stories in Creepypasta.

CREEPYPASTA: Jeff the Killer
Before I begin, those who aren't fan of horror, or are super imaginative, I suggest you not to read this, for this is one heck of a story that will make you wanna turn around to check if someone was behind you.
Horror, cute ain't it?
Ok, "Jeff the Killer", one of Creepypasta's best stories. In fact, I would say it is IN FACT the creepiest out of all. Although it doesn't contain any ghosts or scary monsters that you would usually expect in horror movies, this story still gives its readers a chill, and truth be told, I was scared of almost any suspicious looking thing I see for a few days after reading this story.
Horror and its contents

Some have claimed that Jeff the Killer was real, due to some video evidence and some stories, but I like to keep it as a story rather than a "criminal on the loose". Now the plot of the story was;

A boy named Jeff had a little brother named Liu (or was it Lui, I forgot), and Jeff always thought himself as a grown up, not needing to listen to his parents anymore. Time to time, he would feel a strange sensation that is somewhat pleasuring yet evil, but he ignored it, until one day, some bullies came over and tried to take he and his brother's money. The sensation grew so strong that he started going insane, hitting the bullies right in the stomach, stab the kid's hand (or elbow) with a knife. The police came after the incident, and Liu told them he was the one who stabbed them. This made Jeff's sensation even greater, and one day, when the neighbour asks Jeff's parents to come over for their son's birthday party, the bullies came back and tried to take revenge. Jeff was burnt and hospitalized as a result of the fight; on the other hand, his little brother was released after the police discovered that the bullies the one at fault. However, upon recovering, Jeff lost his sanity, and when he went home, he carved a smile on his face with a knife, burnt his eyelids, and in the end, killed his own parents and little brother.

This meme just explain my first time reading it
This story is so scary I wouldn't even recommend to simply anyone who shouldn't even try to. I can say this is one good story to scare people during Halloween, camping in the woods, or even a nightout. You could also use Jeff's model for Halloween (why am I suddenly bringing this up). Anyways, I could rate the story as 9.5/10. It was scary for a daily life-like story, because what usually scares people are stories of ghosts, dead people, and other mythical creatures. Of course, what I just posted was the plot, the real story is right HERE (CLICK HERE FOR FULL STORY), and for those who loves to read and HORROR, this is one perfect story for you to read.
Have you read about the story yet? What did you think about it?
