Science Corner: EARTH 2.0
YEA! We all heard the official news that NASA has found second Earth.
The name's Kepler 452B, reason being that the planet was discovered using the Kepler telescope. Not meant to boast or anything, but I knew this was gonna happen. Despite all the discoveries and technology advancement.

This planet has already been discovered years ago, then officially called a planet in 2014, and finally labelled as Earth 2.0 now!

Of course, if you go through Youtube, a lot of videos have mentioned about this planet as one of the top 10 unique planets, despite possessing ability to support life.
This is the last video I watched before knowing this outcome. Pretty surprised that there are so many unique planets out there. Kepler 452B is located around 1400 light years away, meaning it would take 600 years for us to reach there, which is probably one thing our fellow NASA is working on right now, or later, how to allow human transportation from Earth to Kepler 452B.

This probably isn't a big news for those who knew this was coming, so to cover this post up. Watch to Demi Lovato's Cool For The Summer, and The Sam Willow's Take Heart MVs.
Now now... Demi Lovato fans, before you complain about how Lady Gaga-like in this MV, just remember... Everyone deserves the right to express themselves, and damn the body paint in Take Heart.
CRITICS! [Tame Impala's "Cause I'm A Man"]
Tame Impala, a psychedelic rock band, released the MV for their latest single "'Cause I'm A Man".. and just in case you don't know what psychedelic is, it's a genre of music in where the artists expresses his music by giving out a hallucinogenic images and music. This song, "'Cause I'm A Man" is an amazing song itself.. but before beginning the comments of "What the heck are you trying to say?" Please watch the MV..
Tame Impala's
" Cause I'm A Man"
First off, yes it's pretty tripy. A lot of new listeners find this MV extremely tripy especially when it's in a detailed 3D image. Secondly, the music matches the MV so much, the MV just hits off even more emotions. It's like there's already enough "I need to act like the stereotypical man" emotions in the song itself, and the MV just hits that emotions even stronger. I must say, they're one amazing band who deserve to get universal acclaim, but of course, everyone has different tastes in music. So I'll just leave the rest of the judgement to you! How did you think about the MV?
CRITICS! [Lenka's "Blue Skies"]
Our "Everything At Once" artist released her latest single, "Blue Skies" around Feb 10. The probable reason why I never knew she updated this was probably because she didn't stand out in the music industry. Still, she's a great singer.
Anyhow, the MV for the single was then released a month after the single's release. What took my interest to listen to this was (maybe?) because of the more electropop music. I mean, her music are usually alternative, and not all are that good, but this single really catches my attention to wait for her upcoming album "The Bright Side". First off, the song isn't that bad, kind of like the slightly weaker version of CRJ's "I Really Like You", but hey, that doesn't mean this won't get universal.
MV-based, she might wanna smile more, 'cause I'll be honest.. She looks way better when she smiles while singing the song in the MV. Creative as the usual Lenka MVs, this one (however) might not be as booming as her previous works. Still, I can't wait for her upcoming album, and I hope it wouldn't be something like "Shadow", 'cause it didn't really had much variation in it.
All in all, how did you think about the single?
CRITICS! [Taylor's "Style"]
Firstly, YOU SERIOUSLY NEED TO WATCH IT!! It's amazing...
"Style" which was set to be the next single, which is pretty obvious, has finally come with a MV.
Based on the teasers we get from Taylor via Instagram, this was expected to be an awesome MV, I mean, let's be real, it's abstract, artistic, and emotional too. Not to mention the way the lyrics connect along with the MV is pretty much precise. Lyrically, the song pretty much explains about how she wants to leave him despite knowing what the relationship could lead, but still can't leave him also despite of loving how he is. I gotta say, this sounds like nowadays relationships. Musically, this track is an earworm in first listen. No joke, I love this track when I first listen to it. It has that fun synthpop-y clingy guitar strung that makes it sound so unique. Vocal-based, for the Queen of Country, it might seem forced to change her music style so suddenly, but then again, after listening to the whole album, it isn't that bad.

CRITICS! [Calvin Harris ft. HAIM's "Pray To God"]
From Calvin's album, "Motion", which was released in 31 Oct 2014, the 11th track "Pray To God" was set to be the sixth single which will be released on 9 March 2015... and now the majestic MV for the single-to-be track is available!

The song itself is EDM house in nature, but what really makes me in to it is how not overly done it is. I dunno about HAIM but their vocals are amazing as hell! It's pretty EDM but not all computer-like with a pinch of house styled music and a bit if awesome vocals - an amazing track. However, on the downside, if you listen to the album, most of them have similar styles, which bores me in a matter of short time, but all in all, it's a great album to listen if you wanna dance and chill around.

Have you listened to the album Motion? Try it out!

CRITICS! [Me! Me! Me!]
Before I begin, this video contains graphics of nudity and gore. Not recommended for everyone!
First off, my interest on this music video wasn't because of the nudity and such, but rather than the meaning behind it. There's so much possibilities of interpretation of the music video, and since I can't understand the lyrics at first sight, it just made me even more curious to watch it again.

My first impression was that the main character (guy) was once in a relationship with the colourful girl, but since he wanted "something more" from her, he started to lose her due to his addiction (the demon girl might be represented as "Addiction"). But again, there is a possibility that the "demon" represents his new girlfriend, which is far worse than his previous caring girlfriend, and controls over him instead of loving him, and there was a scene in where the guy fights the demon to get the girl back, but unlike the typical American endings, he lost not only the girl but everything he owns. However, that's my point of view if the guy was once coupled with the girl.
The other possibility I could've think of is that the colourful girl represents his colourful childhood memories, and again, the demon represents anything evil. There's a scene in where the guy leaves the colourful one (which started fading colors, and like real life, childhood memories fades), but then again, he wants to go back to her (but was too late and gets taken control by the demon within him).
There are still a lot of interpretations going on about this MV, and since I'm still unsure what the lyrics are saying. It's probably best to relate the lyrical meaning to the video. Still, this video is really artistic in a sense of sending message. Although nudity might've been one of the major problem why this MV gets backed off, I think people should see the video in a deeper sense instead of seeing it in a shallow manner and mark it "p**nography".
Musically, this song is (just as expected from Japan) super electronic, and if you simply listen to the music without watching the video, it's actually really good (athough there's going to be a part where the song turns dark all of a sudden). Lyrically, I still don't understand the meaning that much, so I'm going to take some time understanding it.

CRITICS! [Tove Lo's Talking Body MV]
Just as expected from Tove Lo...
I'll be honest, her hit "Habits" was really catchy; however, I don't think this one will hit as "high" as "Habits". Not to mention, her usage of explicit lyrics and meaning make this quite inappropriate for below 18s. The lyrics talks pretty much about being "happy" such as "Ow, baby make 'em bodies, we just use for fun" talks mostly about sex, and from the MV itself, the lyrics tell out the story quite clearly. Truth be told, this MV is pretty creative in my opinion, but (of course) this MV will surely won't suit to people who believe that "bodies" aren't made to make fun of (I'm not saying that I "use my body for fun", but artists have rights to express, so let's not hate Tove just because she sings of sex, because let's admit it, there are more songs about sex and drug sang by other artists). Overall, the MV (dangerously sexy) suits well to the lyrics itself, and what I love about it is the way she makes it a story-like plot and the no-slowing-down of sequence to sequence (well, excluding the slow mo kiss), but the message delivery was pretty direct, and I have to assume that this video might fall out of chart in a few months.

Musical News: Sia Released a New MV
Loved "Chandelier"? Then you might wanna watch her latest MV from "1000 Forms of Fear"
Our little elastic "Chandelier" dancer makes her move again, but this time, in a bird cage? Alongside with Shia LaBeouf, this video is another abstract video Sia has made.
In the previous video, "Chandelier", Maddie Ziegler made a great effort picturing Sia's desire to swing down from the 'chandelier', and now, she is dancing alongside a guy who has the same complexion as hers, but a little dirty. They seem to be fighting at first, but then again, in the end, Maddie tried to help the guy escape, although they know that the guy couldn't. This might be the basic understanding for the 'elastic heart' theme. However, I feel there's a deeper meaning behind those lyrics and dancing moves.
