Flashback!! DAY 3
Dec. 7,
Since Elvin got some food recommendations from his sister, we decided that we're gonna walk around aimlessly until we have any plans. Of course, I don't wanna be late, so I went there on time to realize that neither of them were prepared yet. No matter how furious I am, I got no choice but to cool down, and I literally am glad I ate some bread and milk at the very least to fill up my stomach, so I won't starve like a freak. We chatted at Elvin's aunt's house a bit about how our educational lives were. It was pretty long, to wait, around 3 hours I think. At that moment, I really wished Grace didn't had to go back to Batam, so we could walk around again spontaneously planned.
...
Bras Basah Complex
We arrived at Bugis, and at least we got many choices of place to eat, although we're heading for the recommendation given by Elvin's sister.
Ssikkek BBQ, that's my friend
We ended up arriving there 45 minutes before the Lunch session ends, and of course, since I haven't had my breakfast nor my lunch, I feel like I could just take a plate full of meat and eat as much as I want until I feel like I'm about to burst, but some of my friends thought it was too expensive (Welcome to Singapore, where everything is expensive). No, seriously, I've been studying in Singapore for almost 3 months and I still think things here are really expensive. Okay, moving on, we ate then went to search for my compass tool for maths, and my friend wanted to buy a gift for his "friend" (I see what you're doing).
Anyways, not much fun happened on the last day, but I still tagged along with them to bid them farewell, and obviously, after they left, I went back to my usual "homeboy" life...
But still, I would chat to them too. So, don't worry guys! We'll stay in touch.
P.S. I'm going to be quite busy with my projects and studies, 'cause it's pretty messed up.
Flashback!! DAY 2
Dec. 6,
Sentosa ticket for monorail
Woke pretty early just for some walk around. Though when I was about to exit my dorm, the rain suddenly started to fall, and a stranger suddenly asked me to call for (probably) her friend to wake up now and go down as fast as possible. Since I felt bad if I didn't help, so I was "Naah, helping won't took much time", which ended up taking away 10 minutes to wake him, and I only got 20 minutes to meet up with my friends. Of course, since it was raining, I couldn't run like I usually do on a clear day; hence, it took me around 5 minutes or so to reach the MRT station, and again, because of the rain, the train can't go as fast as usual. So I got delayed, and when I arrived at the place we agreed to meet up at. I realized I was late by a few minutes (and I prefer to be early rather than late), but still, I found Grace, and chatted for a while, since my friend got stuck in the rain.
...
ON OUR WAY TO SENTOSA!

My friend soon arrived once the rain calmed (Yea, there was a friendly conflict back there, LOL), and we headed to do some stuffs before going to Sentosa for Madame Tussauds wax museum, like; eating, walking around in pet shop, buy some stuffs, and take (imaginative) pictures. We then decided to go now, and once we arrived at Sentosa, it was so hot as if global warming effects are BBQing us (maybe just me). Upon arriving, we saw an orchestra band, but they haven't prepared themselves yet probably, and it was good to see that their conductor (maestro) was giving them support that they will do good and it's okay to be early.
Grace takes selfies LIKE A BOSS!
Not long after that, we decided to take selfies, and anything that caught our eyes' attention.
Like flowers, cute statues, etc.

For an instance, this macro shot Elvin took, and Grace is seriously taking pictures like a boss here. XD

Not to mention, the Christmas tree in this region of Sentosa looked funny. Well, since it's made of balloon like stuff.

Cute Merlion statue
And along the small stairways, there were cute small Merlion statues, I mean, cmon guys, who could resist such cuteness? (LOL, come to think again, it looked kinda like a prawn, still cute). We soon decided to take videos which will be sent to our friend, and take almost all things nature.

As we arrived at Madame Tussauds, we found out that the tickets were too expensive, so we decided to do something else. We all took time taking pictures without hurrying, like any introverts, we prefer meaningful get-together, although it was more like a hiking than a go-out-together, 'cause we went quite deep into nature.

Another #SELFIE
The journey of photo-taking was fun, we saw things we had no idea what it was and freaked out when it flew, like a roach.

The "Thing" we freaked out about
I always thought that thing was a fat cute beetle, while Grace told me it was a wasp, which freaked the hell out of us when it flew. Hence, we kept "hiking" until the mosquitoes pissed us...

...but the walk really was a memorable one, and we learned quite a lot. Not to mention, Grace was able to spot some squirrels, I think she was the only one who could take a picture of them, 'cause my phone couldn't focus clearer from a limited distance.

The Merlion

The Merlion, which had made small changes when I last came, was a pretty decent attraction; short videos about the origin of Singapore, the view from its head, and the free ice cream. :P
Free ICE CREAM
We continued our introverted ways again, taking pictures, and there were quite some funny moments, like taking funny pictures of our deformed image on the 'funny' mirrors, and almost got wet by fountain.
We kept walking until we realized we just walked from Imbiah to Siloso (no wonder my legs hurt), and again, take PICTURES!!
We simply kept walking until we arrive at the Skywalk, which was one of my favourite when I was young. My friend who has fear of height wasn't really as comfortable as I was, so for me it was a chance to take pictures of sunsets from height levels above trees, but the ride wasn't just for enjoyment.
Skywalk! More like SkySit
Us on Skywalk
The main reason why we rode on it was because we were too tired to walk back to Imbiah, so we decided to go back to Imbiah from Siloso by Skywalk. We were 20m above ground, so make sure our shoes, phones, sandals, and any other objects don't fall. It was a really fun experience for me, and my friends. When we decided to go back to Harbor Front, we heard music, and Grace told us that the orchestra has started.
The Orchestra
It was magically memorable, they played some of the most famous songs, like; "Under the Sea" from Little Mermaid, "The Incredibles Theme Song", "Ponyo Theme Song", "Jingle Bell Rock", and probably many more ('cause we couldn't stay to listen to all of it and I couldn't upload it on this post 'cause the memory's too large).
As we went back to Harbor Front, the Christmas tree was lit, and of course... SELFIESS!!
SELFIES!
After taking selfies, we decided to have dinner before Grace leaves Singapore. Though it was fun, it all comes to an end, and of course, they never last forever. To be truthful, when Grace was about to leave, we were really plain blank about what and where we're going next, like literally no plans at all. However, as soon as we came back to Elvin's aunt's house, his sister gave some recommendations for good foods in Singapore, and this will be one last day I shall enjoy with my friends. Truth be told, I didn't touch my books since my friends came, and you could say that my mind feels as if it was brainwashed and all the homework I was suppose to do got forgotten. But, yes, a bad habit of mine, maybe I could do it after I gave my goodbyes to my friends before they leave for Batam.
Today was beautiful, let's hope this memory stays fresh within the pictures we all shot and shared.
Thanks for the memories guys!

My friend's First Day At AFA
DAY 2 @ SENTOSA
Flashback!! DAY 1
December 5, 2014

Man, really could NOT focus on my studies only on this day (probably too excited to go to AFA with my old friends), but of course, I can't let this take over my focus for study. Making appointment with my friends to go there was harder than I thought, well, since I forgot to top up my phone cash, and also to get money for shopping while I go to AFA, which leads to extra problems like; how do I contact them, and how do I know if I'm going on the right way.
So definitely, after arriving at City Hall, I looked for 7/11 with my friend.
Arriving at Suntec City
I felt really bad dragging him along with me just to find 7/11, but in the end, we found my friends and I also knew they just came out from the festival (by the stuffs they bought, it's pretty obvious).
Of course, it was noon when we gathered, so some of them haven't ate, and obviously, decided to eat before entering again.
Finally, reunited
Upon buying and about to eat, one of my friend just arrived, and henceforth, my friend and I went on a journey to escort her. Of course, we found her and introduced her to my friends, and they get along pretty well (just as expected).

...
We bought tickets for AFA, and once I entered, my mind is only filled with "OMG! This is AFA!", "My first time at AFA!!!", "Gonna be so MUCH FUN", and so much more 'slightly, over-excited manner' thoughts. However, my friends told me that this year's festival was less "up lifting" and there were not much kiosks to see. Although I took quite some of the place, and bought a cute chibi "Toothless (from "How to Train Your Dragon")" tee! (In an XS size though), BUT STILL LOVING IT!
Garo cosplayer (so cool)
And we wandered around, took pics with a Garo cosplayer, see the sign boards, took selfies in super imaginative ways my friend, Elvin (check his blog here), could think of. It was a memorable day, even though my wallet thinned out after buying that one T, but it was totally memorable and worth it. Before going home, I visited Elvin's aunt's house to rest my legs, I mean, dude, we walked non stop for hours. After resting enough, got new anime recommended from Elvin, I went home. Compared to others, I didn't buy much, and it was probably the best thing for me to run out of money suddenly ('cause sometimes, I might get carried away by staying with my friends), but of course, the T was the best thing I've had upon going to AFA. For tomorrow, I wasn't going to AFA, instead, my friends, Grace and Elvin, were planning to go to Madame Tussauds Wax Museum.

Procrastination, Students' Greatest Enemy
Got an essay due two weeks? Or a project this week? Or maybe a homework which needs to be passed in two days? Most would probably think "Yea, I still got TIME" and probably ended up doing it last minute. Yeah, we've all been there, and it would be quite surprising that you could actually avoid this bad habit of procrastination, and I'm here to share some opinions and suggestions which I think might help you to get over this bad habit.
First off, for those who don't know what procrastination means, it's an action of putting "less important" activities over "more important" stuffs, which most often leads to last minute preparation.
Now, we always think that we could start it tomorrow, and this excuse will anchor your mind to think that you CAN do it tomorrow, which will just go on until you really start doing it. I've always had this problem ever since I entered junior high school, thinking that this homework was nothing and just played games without doing it until the deadline arrives quite close. Luckily, I was able to finish it by doing it during the time of other teachers. In other words, I wasted my time on my games while I could've done my homework in just a few hours, and wasted even more time at school by doing it last minute and didn't focus on the lectures my teachers were giving. Hence, bringing another bad habit - borrowing notes from friends to copy. Of course, you won't realize this habit until you are mentally quiet to think through what you have done throughout the day, and this bad habit doesn't simply go away once you realize it.
You really have to conquer it, not just realizing it. If you do so, it's like seeing a fire in your house and just relax until the fire gets big enough to scare the hell out of you, and start reacting to it only to realize you have either two choices - die getting burnt or losing your house and be homeless. And of course, even though it sounds good that you "survived" the fire, you still got no where to go, with all your stuffs burnt, you're probably going to wander around looking for a job decent enough to pay for your stomach. Just like procrastination, you might survive the horror of deadlines at first, but if you keep up, this will be a bumpy road of life of yours. And as you bring along this habit to work, you're most probably gonna get fired. I, of course, can't stop this problem yet, but I could suggest some ways to help you get over this bad habit.
Firstly, PROCRASTINATING IS NOT LAZY! It just makes the individual seem lazy. Lazy is a characteristic of a person who wants to obtain pleasure but doesn't want to work on it. Procrastinating is the practice of putting less important over more important. And LITERALLY, that is just super different man!
And telling a procrastinator to "Just do it!" won't help at all. For parents out there, I might not be 100% but I'm sure you don't want your son and daughters to be a chronic procrastinator, for it will really ruin their whole life. Now, procrastinators tend to NOT able to see their goals in a certain thing they do, which is why they prefer to put things they like above it. Now here is the clue, what they need to do is make a goal, it could be anything, be a successful man/woman, to be the best singer, etc. And of course, think about it, to obtain ANY goals, there will be obstacles, I mean, cmon guys, even "I want to eat a pizza" requires either ordering the pizza and wait for it OR getting one from the kitchen and heat it for several seconds. The obstacles here is WAITING, and your goal is the pizza. Definitely, you need to know that to gain your goal, you'll need to overcome these obstacles. And another one is to be able to differentiate which activity is more urgent and needs to be done first. For parents, you can do this by asking your kid what they really want in life, and (if it's a positive goal) explain to them that they're going to go through some tough stuffs. I know some parents might not want to tell this, but at the very least, your kid must know a bit about the world out there. You can't lock them in childhood and provide them forever. So, I hope this method helps you in getting through procrastination. Remember!
