Before continuing, so sorry for the absence due to exam which needed much more studies than I had expected. So let's continue, after learning the planets and their meanings. Time to learning the all famous 12 Western horoscope signs (Reminder: Ophiuchus is NOT going to be focused here, although I know it is part of sidereal horoscope). They are;
And (obviously) from what is shown from the picture, each horoscope has a range of dates which will determine what horoscope a person has by pin-pointing their birthdate.
Now, the 12 horoscopes are divided into 4 based on elements;

The 4 Elements |
- Fire
- Earth
- Air
- Water
Of course, there are meanings behind this elements (kinda reminds me of Aang from Avatar), and as a REMINDER, the horoscope cycle always starts from the Aries sign.
So, for the elements, it starts with Fire, Earth, Air, and Water respectively. Conclusively, it can be said that;
Aries is FIRE...
Taurus is EARTH...
Gemini is AIR...
Cancer is WATER...
And then, back to FIRE continuing Cancer, starting with Leo (Fire), Virgo (Earth), Libra (Air), Scorpio (Water), Sagitarius (Fire), Capricorn (Earth), Aquarius (Air), Pisces (Water).
Now what does these element mean..
Fire resembles passion, and need for action. Like the burning fire, those categorized FIRE are known for their passion, optimism, and unconcious courage.
Earth resembles concrete. Like the Earth itself, those categorized EARTH are known to have a down-to-earth personality. They are realistic and reliable.
Air resembles flexibility. Like the wind that could change its direction and magnitude at any time for as long the conditions are supportive, those categorized AIR are mostly flexible in life (easy going), and are able to adapt.
Water resembles the waves of emotion. Like the clear water, those categorized WATER are able to read emotions and sensitive.
Now, I know you might be thinking, "Hey, I'm a Scorpio and I'm not like what you describe", but first, as another reminder, NO HOROSCOPE are THE SAME, and you'll see why...
Next, the 12 horoscope signs are divided into 3 based on MODALITY; Cardinal, Fixed, and Mutable.
Again, starting from Aries;
Aries - Cardinal
Taurus - Fixed
Gemini - Mutable
Cancer - Cardinal
Leo - Fixed
Virgo - Mutable
Libra - Cardinal
Scorpio - Fixed, and so on... until Pisces. Although the picture mostly explains the modality, I'll explain a little...
Cardinal signs are usually self starters (loves to start new projects), and mostly efficacious. However, this "self-starter" personality makes them hard to follow under others orders.
Fixed signs are good at focusing, and are highly determined when they have a specific goal. However, they are usually stubborn about their point of view of a certain subject, but they are able to follow others easily.
Mutable signs are, well, MUTABLE, they are able to "mutate" easily to adapt, and mostly flexible. However, on the downside, they are easily distracted (unlike Cardinal and Fixed signs, but of course, everyone has their own flaws).
Lastly, the 12 horoscope signs are divided into 2 groups based on duality.
There's light, there'll be dark
There's day, there'll be night
There's pro, there'll be con
There's yin, there'll be yang
Like yin and yang, the horoscopes are divided based on 2 dualities; active (Assertive) and passive
Again, from Aries;
Aries - Active (A)
Taurus - Passive (P)
Gemini - A
Cancer - P
And so on... until Pisces.
Now, Active signs have an outgoing personality, their energy is focused outwardly; on the downside, they're impulsive at times.
Passive signs have a reserved personality, tend to be shy, and focuses energy inwardly, prefer to observe at times. Not to mention, these signs have magnetic personalities.
So, in conclusion (sorry to conclude everything in a picture, I'm starting to find writings a bit boring when explaining these stuffs)
And for notes;
+ sign means assertive
- sign means passive
Don't worry passive signs, you are not NEGATIVE.
Anyways, as you can see neither one of the signs have precise similarity. There's always a difference in every sign. Now, I'll continue this next week, for now, try understanding some of the signs. I'm sorry but I forgot the link to where I found the elements, modality, and duality stuffs. Thanks for reading :D
