Sentosa ticket for monorail |
Woke pretty early just for some walk around. Though when I was about to exit my dorm, the rain suddenly started to fall, and a stranger suddenly asked me to call for (probably) her friend to wake up now and go down as fast as possible. Since I felt bad if I didn't help, so I was "Naah, helping won't took much time", which ended up taking away 10 minutes to wake him, and I only got 20 minutes to meet up with my friends. Of course, since it was raining, I couldn't run like I usually do on a clear day; hence, it took me around 5 minutes or so to reach the MRT station, and again, because of the rain, the train can't go as fast as usual. So I got delayed, and when I arrived at the place we agreed to meet up at. I realized I was late by a few minutes (and I prefer to be early rather than late), but still, I found
Grace, and chatted for a while, since my friend got stuck in the rain.

ON OUR WAY TO SENTOSA! |
My friend soon arrived once the rain calmed (Yea, there was a friendly conflict back there, LOL), and we headed to do some stuffs before going to Sentosa for Madame Tussauds wax museum, like; eating, walking around in pet shop, buy some stuffs, and take (imaginative) pictures. We then decided to go now, and once we arrived at Sentosa, it was so hot as if global warming effects are BBQing us (maybe just me). Upon arriving, we saw an orchestra band, but they haven't prepared themselves yet probably, and it was good to see that their conductor (maestro) was giving them support that they will do good and it's okay to be early.

Grace takes selfies LIKE A BOSS! |
Not long after that, we decided to take selfies, and anything that caught our eyes' attention.
Like flowers, cute statues, etc.
For an instance, this macro shot Elvin took, and Grace is seriously taking pictures like a boss here. XD

Not to mention, the Christmas tree in this region of Sentosa looked funny. Well, since it's made of balloon like stuff.
 |
Cute Merlion statue |
And along the small stairways, there were cute small Merlion statues, I mean, cmon guys, who could resist such cuteness? (LOL, come to think again, it looked kinda like a prawn, still cute). We soon decided to take videos which will be sent to our friend, and take almost all things nature.
As we arrived at Madame Tussauds, we found out that the tickets were too expensive, so we decided to do something else. We all took time taking pictures without hurrying, like any introverts, we prefer meaningful get-together, although it was more like a hiking than a go-out-together, 'cause we went quite deep into nature.

Another #SELFIE |
The journey of photo-taking was fun, we saw things we had no idea what it was and freaked out when it flew, like a roach.
 |
The "Thing" we freaked out about |
I always thought that thing was a fat cute beetle, while Grace told me it was a wasp, which freaked the hell out of us when it flew. Hence, we kept "hiking" until the mosquitoes pissed us...

...but the walk really was a memorable one, and we learned quite a lot. Not to mention, Grace was able to spot some squirrels, I think she was the only one who could take a picture of them, 'cause my phone couldn't focus clearer from a limited distance.

The Merlion

The Merlion, which had made small changes when I last came, was a pretty decent attraction; short videos about the origin of Singapore, the view from its head, and the free ice cream. :P

Free ICE CREAM |
We continued our introverted ways again, taking pictures, and there were quite some funny moments, like taking funny pictures of our deformed image on the 'funny' mirrors, and almost got wet by fountain.
We kept walking until we realized we just walked from Imbiah to Siloso (no wonder my legs hurt), and again, take PICTURES!!
We simply kept walking until we arrive at the Skywalk, which was one of my favourite when I was young. My friend who has fear of height wasn't really as comfortable as I was, so for me it was a chance to take pictures of sunsets from height levels above trees, but the ride wasn't just for enjoyment.

Skywalk! More like SkySit |

Us on Skywalk |
The main reason why we rode on it was because we were too tired to walk back to Imbiah, so we decided to go back to Imbiah from Siloso by Skywalk. We were 20m above ground, so make sure our shoes, phones, sandals, and any other objects don't fall. It was a really fun experience for me, and my friends. When we decided to go back to Harbor Front, we heard music, and Grace told us that the orchestra has started.
 |
The Orchestra |
It was magically memorable, they played some of the most famous songs, like; "Under the Sea" from Little Mermaid, "The Incredibles Theme Song", "Ponyo Theme Song", "Jingle Bell Rock", and probably many more ('cause we couldn't stay to listen to all of it and I couldn't upload it on this post 'cause the memory's too large).
As we went back to Harbor Front, the Christmas tree was lit, and of course... SELFIESS!!
 |
SELFIES! |
After taking selfies, we decided to have dinner before Grace leaves Singapore. Though it was fun, it all comes to an end, and of course, they never last forever. To be truthful, when Grace was about to leave, we were really plain blank about what and where we're going next, like literally no plans at all. However, as soon as we came back to Elvin's aunt's house, his sister gave some recommendations for good foods in Singapore, and this will be one last day I shall enjoy with my friends. Truth be told, I didn't touch my books since my friends came, and you could say that my mind feels as if it was brainwashed and all the homework I was suppose to do got forgotten. But, yes, a bad habit of mine, maybe I could do it after I gave my goodbyes to my friends before they leave for Batam.
Today was beautiful, let's hope this memory stays fresh within the pictures we all shot and shared.
Thanks for the memories guys!

I'm flattered that you used my pics and promoted me in your blog. And now nostalgia officially begins.
LOL, it's because we shared pics after the journey, so definitely gonna give credits to you. Plus, my side of the story might not be as interesting as yours, so people need more side stories other than mine
