Our fellow Youtuber Shane Dawson might not be having much of a jolly Christmas after knowing his parody of "Blank Space", originally made by Taylor Swift, being pulled off by Sony due to copyright.
This is one of the video left in Youtube. (NOTE: This video contains gore and disturbing graphics and language)

Shane Dawson, who shared his "Blank Space" parody on 5 Dec, 2014, was then taken down by Sony due to copyright, but let's rephrase the word 'parody'
"A parody is any humorous, satirical, or burlesque imitation, as of a person, event, etc" (Source: Dictionary.com)
...and obviously, all the lyrics are new and even if some were similar, THIS IS A PARODY! It's an artist's way to express in a humorous matter. However, that's not the only case, it was said that Taylor's manager "didn't like" the video, so they took it down. This led Shane to turmoil and he posted a video in where he explains what's going on and how he's feeling. (NOTE: Video contains vulgar language)

"As most of you guys know, last week, or two weeks ago, my Taylor Swift spoof for Blank Space was taken down," he said. "The reason it was taken down was because Sony, Taylor Swift's record label, didn't like it. Didn't like it. They're using the fact that it's copy-written. You can't do a copy-written song.
"That's why they took it down, but the reality is, they just didn't like it," Dawson continued.
"It was too gross. It was too violent. It was just like 'Ew.' But it's not copywritten because it's a parody. If parodies were copywritten … all of my other parodies … would be deleted. But all of that shit's still there."
Now let's be honest, Youtube is on blame in this case, he didn't made any plagiarism on copyright of the video, and after a few hours, SD Army starts sharing #shanedawsonsony as a support for him to fight back Sony.
And also, SIDENOTE! He isn't mad with Taylor Swift, he was frustrated to why her manager took it down. This hasn't happened once, it happened to Bart Baker's "Royal" parody too, in where they simply took out his parody. Let's get this straight, this isn't about the parody, it's about having the freedom to express, and if these kind of parodies weren't allowed to be shown, then why are there still so many parodies out there that are still shared. So let's join the SD Army to fight for the right of freedom of speech by spreading out the word alongside with #shanedawsonsony!!
