One of Ajahn's best seller, this is one of those books that relates to everyone. Yes, I literally mean it. Just because he's a monk doesn't mean this book will always be filled with Buddhism and such. In this book, he writes down quotes which are sometimes corny yet pretty humorous. Both enlightening and heart warming, this book is filled with philosophy themed quotes, which explains why most people are able to relate without discrimination.
This book is filled with mostly quotes about "treasuring the present, less worrying about the future, let go off the past", "Self is just an illusion", and some others relating to how nothing lasts forever, a common theme in not only Buddhism but also in other beliefs.
And another commonly used theme in religions worldwide, "letting go off mortal desires".
Not sure if you read the translated quote in the picture, but I'll just type it down just in case you can't read it.
"Craving leads to sufferinh. Letting go leads to peace"
It's definitely a book, especially for those who loves enlightening quotes, for those of you who needs some spirit lifting after a bad day.
