Chinese have Chinese New Year, universally... Happy New Year...
Selamat Hari Raya to everyone and especially the Muslims! Mohon maaf lahir dan batin.
Normally, I'm really curious about the fasting thing and their New Year stuffs. I'm surprised to know how strong their self control is. I mean, usually, I would get something to eat once my stomach makes the rumblies, but the Muslims and those that joined the fasting season? They're able to NOT eat OR drink from morning till night. I would usually ask my Muslim friends and they would reply with, "It's all about self control". This kind of enlighten me, making myself realized that I have such low self control towards mortal desires, and now I'm practicing self control, but of course, I still can't go through fasting (Muslims, you guys are awesome!).

Another thing I just knew is that during this New Year, they get green packets (kinda like the Muslim version of red packets that Chinese use to give during Chinese New Year. NOT BEING A RACIST HERE!), and I just got my first one when I joined my mom to visit some of her Muslim friends. I was surprised when I got the green packet, and of course, I'll never open it and label it as my "First Green Packet". Yea, that sounds stupid, but this is a really fun experience for me.

Not to mention, I miss Batam so much, after being away for around 3 months. I miss my parents, lil bro, friends, and let's not forget how awesome the foods are. Anyhow, won't make this post too long 'cause I got works to do. This was dedicated for the people out there celebrating Hari Raya.

And again, Selamat Hari Raya! This might not be much, but I wish you all the best (you know, the complete package with good health, longevity, wealth, prosperity, harmony, and others), and mohon maaf zahir dan batin. Semoga Anda sihat! (That's Malaysian, I learned it from my friend)
