CHRISTMAS IS HERE!!
Christmas IS FINALLY HERE!!! OK, at least at +7 GMT...
Anyhow, for today's post, I'll be sharing my Top 10 Favourite Christmas Themed MV since 2014, so pre 2014 MVs are probably not included...
First up!
1. Cover of "Baby, It's Cold Outside" by Idina Menzel and Michael Buble

This MV, a cover of "Baby, It's Cold Outside" by Idina Menzel and Michael Buble, is my favourite Christmas MV for this year so far, even though it was released a month before Christmas. I STILL FREAKING LOVE IT! Plus, the kids in this MV are just cute, talented, and great dancers. I really need to get some spare time searching who they are.

2. Pentatonix's "Dance of the Plum Sugar Fairy"

If you haven't heard of 'em, you probably dunno much about what they got in store, but seriously, these 5 guys (emm... 1 girl) are damn talented in a cappella in both making covers of songs or even making their own song. This is one of their covers which you can hear in their latest album "That's Christmas To Me".

3. Pentatonix's "Mary Did You Know?"

This is one really Christian song, relating to Mary (Jesus' mother), and the reminder of "did she know that her son was a savior", and literally, I loved this song eventhough I ain't a Christian, I mean, c'mon guys, we need to live in equality man... Religion and races ain't gonna stand us back, anyhow... as I was saying, this is definitely one holy song you might wanna give a listen for Christmas.

4. Band Aid 30's "Do They Know It's Christmas?"
This song was made for donation for the Ebola victims which are trying to survive, I know I might be late in sharing this, and I feel really bad, but at least I managed to share some word about it. Support them to fight Ebola and you might be just one of them who could give them a hand by DOWNLOADING IT!!

5. Fifth Harmony's "All I Want For Christmas Is You" cover

Nope, all I want for Christmas was at least 1 week of holiday, geezz... anyhow, these five beautiful ladies sure made their way into the spotlight, and yes, it is the all famous "All I Want For Christmas Is You" originally by Mariah Carey, but hey, it's still pretty catchy till now.

6. Lady Gaga ft. Tony Bennett's cover of "Winter Wonderland"

Lady Gaga is sure on her sassy side this year, duet alongside with Tony Bennett, starting from her latest album "Cheek to Cheek". She is sure getting into the Christmas spirit, and I have to say, I'm starting to love her sense of fashion even more ever since she sang for the H&M commercial. Give it a listen guys!

7. Owl City's "Kiss Me Babe, It's Christmas Time"

OK, I know this isn't an MV, but I really love this song, not just because it's Owl City's work, but because of how joyous it was. Plus, it brings back the atmosphere of his old works from "Ocean Eyes". Try listening to it guys, "let's fly around the world tonight" as we listen to it together.

8. Little Mix's cover for "Christmas (Baby, Please Come Home)"

Just like Fifth Harmony, these hot girls sure have some amazing vocals and harmony. Try listening to this cover, you won't regret it! Plus, the MV is so "Girl Night Out" like... it makes me feel happy for some reason by just seeing them being happy, don't you?

9. Pentatonix ft. Tori Kelly's "Winter Wonderland/Don't Worry Be Happy"

If a group of 5 amazing talented dudes for a cappella wasn't enough, try this one out! Tori Kelly sure adds up the jingling vocals. Besides, the more the merrier ain't it??

10. Ariana Grande's "Santa Tell Me"

OK, first of, this was never suppose to be part of my list, since it wasn't into the Christmas spirit and cheers, instead, this MV was more of a simple dance along to the tune, but I have to say, Ariana sure has some amazing vocals for this song. She might wanna make a video that goes along with it.

Xmas Eve Special: Why Kiss Under the Mistletoe?
Ever heard about the usual sayings "Kissing under the mistletoe"?
Mistletoe
Well, chances are you have, but why under the mistletoe? Why under this ironically poisonous white berries which could lead to upset stomachs instead of happy smiles on such a jolly good holiday? Although Hippocrates did use certain mistletoe for menstrual pain treatment, infertility, and sometimes cancer (Researches said that some mistletoe are able to help terminate colon cancer cells)
But, to the main topic...
Why do we need to kiss under this harmful berries? (I think we need to someone to make sure that hospitals are open before the kissing part starts)
Kissing under the mistletoe
Well, in actuality, there was a legend behind these white berries. The common explanation says that early Christians integrated mistletoe into their celebrations as the religion spread across third-century Europe. The rationale predates the early Christians and goes back to the Norse god Baldur — second son of Odin, god of truth and light — who was so beloved by the other gods that they sought to protect him from all the dangers of the world.
Frigg (the one with the crown) told others not to hurt Baldur

His mother, the goddess Frigg, "took an oath from fire and water, iron and all metals, stones and earth, from trees, sicknesses and poisons, and from all four-footed beasts, birds and creeping things, that they would not hurt Baldur." And thus the beautiful god was deemed invincible.
At a large gathering soon after, stones, arrows, and flame were all flung at Baldur to test his might. Nothing worked, and he walked away unscathed. Jealous of Baldur's new powers, the mischievous Loki set out to find the one thing on Earth that might be able to hurt him. He found that the goddess Frigg forgot to ask mistletoe — tiny and forgotten — not to harm her beloved son. In the end, a dart fashioned from the little plant was used to murder Baldur in front of all the other gods who loved him so dearly.
Frigg, of course, was devastated, and it was said that Baldur's mother's tears turned into these white berries, which we known as mistletoe. Henceforth, it was decreed that "mistletoe would never again be used as a weapon and that she would place a kiss on anyone who passed under it."
And so as the legend goes on...
So, have you kissed under the mistletoe?? It's okay because...
Just a quote I found... since it's related to mistletoe

DECEMBER!! What I Have In Mind for Now
December! Yay! It's finally here, the month in where people waits for their presents under the pine tree, have snowballs fights, building a snowman ("Do you wanna build a snowman?~), but what of course, I do neither of those stuffs 'cause I live in the tropical region of the Earth, so, no snows... and presents, nope, I don't get those either. Anyways, so far, life is pretty much okay, there's ups and downs, we fall and rise, but we still move on, never to cling too tight on the past. As far as I am concerned, my studies have started to get harder, like really tough (my lecturers have warned me about this), and November is a pretty fresh month for me to learn lots of new things I never knew, but of course, everything will pass on as time goes on. Nothing stays for eternity my fellow readers, remember that.
Okay, time for me to tell the reason why I made this post, first off, IT'S DECEMBER!! And this will be my first time going to AFA, so yeah, pretty excited!
AFA
And of course, I won't go there alone, I'm going with my friends. This will also be a great opportunity for me to not only reunite with my old friends but also meet some new friends (as I am socially detached from the world). Not only the AFA event I'm excited about, but I'm also writing this to recommend my favourite Christmas songs (I mean, cmon, Xmas is coming). So here's my recommendation, some might actually be kind of old, like 5-10 years ago.

"All I Want For Christmas is You" originally by Mariah Carey.

Big Time Rush ft. Miranda Cosgrove cover
Yes, you probably knew this was coming, did you? Or did you? Anyways, this song is awesome for couples or to express your love to someone you care. It doesn't have to be you boy/girlfriend, you can sing this to your parents or anyone you love dearly that gifts are nothing compared to them. (Remember, even Valentine's Day is a day you show your love to someone you dearly love, "dearly love" doesn't always have to be your partner). LINKS HERE!

"Peppermint Winter" by Owl City

This sugary music is really fun if you could imagine you "twirl through the driveways with angelic grace, till you slip on your sidewalk and fall on your face". This song is really fun to listen, the song is pretty universal, without referencing your status or even sexuality, and I totally recommend this to people who loves to drown in their imagination while listening to music, you'll have a great time. The song simply sings out how beautiful the little things you usually do during Christmas Eve. LINKS HERE!!

Pentatonix's latest Christmas album, "That's Christmas to Me"

This band does covers of the usual Christmas carols you would usually listen, BUT IN ACAPPELLA (A cappella is a type of music in where ONLY vocals are present, no music). They are awesome, not only in this album, but also in many others. Do not underestimate their ability in making a cappella music, it may sound fake, but trust me, it's what they sound like. LINK TO ALBUM HERE!

"Santa Tell Me" by Ariana Grande
Now, we all know Ariana Grande, who's booming in music trend right now.

This single is pretty harmonizing, with little tingling bells and Ariana's baby smooth voice, making this 20s century song sound kinda like a 19s. As expected from Ariana Grande...
"Santa, tell me if you're really there
Don't make me fall in love again if he won't be here"

So, there you go, my favourite Christmas songs to listen during these seasons. Of course, I have more, but these are my favourites so far. Share me some of your favourite Christmas songs, and recommend me some songs you think which might suit me, and who knows I might actually go crazy on it. :P
Anyways, I wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy new year!!
