December! Yay! It's finally here, the month in where people waits for their presents under the pine tree, have snowballs fights, building a snowman ("Do you wanna build a snowman?~), but what of course, I do neither of those stuffs 'cause I live in the tropical region of the Earth, so, no snows... and presents, nope, I don't get those either. Anyways, so far, life is pretty much okay, there's ups and downs, we fall and rise, but we still move on, never to cling too tight on the past. As far as I am concerned, my studies have started to get harder, like really tough (my lecturers have warned me about this), and November is a pretty fresh month for me to learn lots of new things I never knew, but of course, everything will pass on as time goes on. Nothing stays for eternity my fellow readers, remember that.
Okay, time for me to tell the reason why I made this post, first off, IT'S DECEMBER!! And this will be my first time going to AFA, so yeah, pretty excited!
And of course, I won't go there alone, I'm going with my friends. This will also be a great opportunity for me to not only reunite with my old friends but also meet some new friends (as I am socially detached from the world). Not only the AFA event I'm excited about, but I'm also writing this to recommend my favourite Christmas songs (I mean, cmon, Xmas is coming). So here's my recommendation, some might actually be kind of old, like 5-10 years ago.
"All I Want For Christmas is You" originally by Mariah Carey.
Yes, you probably knew this was coming, did you? Or did you? Anyways, this song is awesome for couples or to express your love to someone you care. It doesn't have to be you boy/girlfriend, you can sing this to your parents or anyone you love dearly that gifts are nothing compared to them. (Remember, even Valentine's Day is a day you show your love to someone you dearly love, "dearly love" doesn't always have to be your partner). LINKS HERE!
"Peppermint Winter" by Owl City
This sugary music is really fun if you could imagine you "twirl through the driveways with angelic grace, till you slip on your sidewalk and fall on your face". This song is really fun to listen, the song is pretty universal, without referencing your status or even sexuality, and I totally recommend this to people who loves to drown in their imagination while listening to music, you'll have a great time. The song simply sings out how beautiful the little things you usually do during Christmas Eve. LINKS HERE!!
"What's December without Christmas Eve?"
Pentatonix's latest Christmas album, "That's Christmas to Me"
This band does covers of the usual Christmas carols you would usually listen, BUT IN ACAPPELLA (A cappella is a type of music in where ONLY vocals are present, no music). They are awesome, not only in this album, but also in many others. Do not underestimate their ability in making a cappella music, it may sound fake, but trust me, it's what they sound like. "Santa Tell Me" by Ariana Grande
Now, we all know Ariana Grande, who's booming in music trend right now.
This single is pretty harmonizing, with little tingling bells and Ariana's baby smooth voice, making this 20s century song sound kinda like a 19s. As expected from Ariana Grande...
"Santa, tell me if you're really there
Don't make me fall in love again if he won't be here"
So, there you go, my favourite Christmas songs to listen during these seasons. Of course, I have more, but these are my favourites so far. Share me some of your favourite Christmas songs, and recommend me some songs you think which might suit me, and who knows I might actually go crazy on it. :P
Anyways, I wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy new year!!
